Use a reusable tote bag this Easter instead of the basket, I know its crazy, but sometimes it is fun to be a little nuts.

I think these are so pretty. And it gives you something to do with those brightly colored plastic Easter eggs that tend to roll around the house for months after.
Loving these marbelized eggs.
i put them in my collection of bottles and they have just happied the house right up. also loving moss in anything still.
i was asking madeira what easter was all about yesterday and she immediately yelled “bunnies”! then she thought a bit and said “jesus”, almost like if she did not give that answer the easter bunny might not come, like jesus and the bunny might have a chat about her or something. . .
this morning on the radio we were listening to an interview of max lucado, a christian author. he was talking about the easter weekend and the different days that make it up. people of the christian faith believe that good friday is the day jesus died on the cross to allow forgiveness for all people and easter sunday is when he rose from the dead, the great miracle of the faith. anyways, max lucado was talking about the saturday in between and how we never talk about it. he was saying it was a day of peace-jesus did not immediately rise up from the grave and allow the celebration to begin, he took a day to experience the quiet and to let everyone absorb what had happened and question why. i love that. no matter what or who we believe in or if we even believe in anything at all, i think that is such a beautiful concept. it is ok to be in a place of questioning and uncertainty in our lives. and in fact maybe we should find peace in that moment. so much is uncertain in the world and in each of our lives, it seems especially these days, but as max lucado said this morning, “be ok with saturday because sunday is only a few hours away” (loose quotes). so this saturday, i am going to sit in a few moments of peace and stillness and be ok with the uncertainties.
